In the 15th minute, Guillermo Gizon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Arnoldo Manuelo in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by D.D FC's Tomas Eguzki. In the 26th minute, Higinio Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, D.D FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Fernado to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Tomas Eguzki in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soconcho FC's Arnoldo Manuelo. After 46 played minutes D.D FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Azubeli. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

With a little luck, D.D FC's Victor Crescencio got control of the ball when Guillermo Gizon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Guillermo Gizon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Crescencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 70 played minutes Soconcho FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Erlantz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Endira during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, D.D FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Endira to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Gizon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Victor Crescencio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in D.D FC's zone, Guillermo Gizon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Crescencio came out of the goal and Guillermo Gizon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Soconcho FC's Guillermo Gizon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Crescencio. That made the score 1-2 after 88 minutes of play. D.D FC's Victor Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Gizon in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to D.D FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alfredo Raymon hit a great ball.
