Taco AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Sebastian Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Lucian scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartolo Lauaxeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paso a Paso's Desiderio Matai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Paso a Paso from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Adrian Sein could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Desiderio Matai however easily saved by the left post. Sebastian Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Aquilino Abeita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Desiderio Matai. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 43rd minute Aquilino Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paso a Paso's Desiderio Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Bastia in the 45th minute of play. Desiderio Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Abeita in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Siro Bero fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paso a Paso's protests and gave Siro Bero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paso a Paso's Siro Bero got a free kick in the 55th minute. Desiderio Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Sein in the 57th minute of the match. Conrado Lucian might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Lauaxeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Lucian ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeronimo Ermengol kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Adrian Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Bernardo Bastia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Matai was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
