The coaching staff of Newelľs Carajo! protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filiberto Mercurio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th minute, one of Newelľs Carajo!:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Newelľs Carajo!. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Winning Eleven. Damian Gombal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonides Kimetz. 1-0. With a little luck, Newelľs Carajo!'s Leonides Kimetz got control of the ball when Natalio Sabin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Kimetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Frederico in the 40th minute. Natalio Sabin might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Kimetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Sabin ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Indalecio was the one to do the kick off. Atilano Checa tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Saturnino Cresencio. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 52nd minute. Leonides Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Raphael in the 55th minute of play. Claudio Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Romildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Jacinto Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Kimetz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Winning Eleven's Honorato Lucero. But to his dismay, Honorato Lucero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 94th minute, Natalio Sabin made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Kimetz. Newelľs Carajo!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1.
