In the 19th minute, Henderson FC's Blas Thomas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Blas Thomas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Henderson FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Blas Thomas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jacinto Lesardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Luisito Nalo made a huge save. After 24 minutes of play, Henderson FC's Godfredo Txema made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Kimetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the game, Hernan Udalaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newelľs Carajo!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Henderson FC the free kick. Hernan Udalaitz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Luisito Nalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Isidoro Ariando kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Bernardo Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Kimetz having to interfere. Leonides Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Txema in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Txema to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Benito Urbes put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Kimetz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Txema got free with Leonides Kimetz in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Bieito in the 59th minute of play forced Newelľs Carajo!'s goalkeeper Leonides Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vicente Tiadoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Kimetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Txema in the 68th minute. Isidoro Ariando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Kimetz having to make a save. Newelľs Carajo!'s Leonides Kimetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Newelľs Carajo! from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Oscar Sanson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Kimetz was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. A collision led to Henderson FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Newelľs Carajo!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Vicente Tiadoro scored to the left of an out of position Leonides Kimetz, making the score, 0-4. Henderson FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
