Humberto Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Dantae having to interfere. When Filiberto Bide came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Estudiantes LP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Bide couldn't finish the play. Mauro Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arcadia FC's zone, Humberto Filipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Dantae came out of the goal and Humberto Filipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Filiberto Bide notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Arcadia FC's Mauro Dantae. Mauro Dantae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Humberto Filipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Dantae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Mauro Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.
