The wind increased when Aldo Maraman made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Ali Salah in the 52nd minute of play forced Asturias's goalkeeper Elias Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Che helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, LIVERPOOL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Che to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Pablo Matei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asturias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LIVERPOOL FC the free kick. Asturias were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
