When Alejo Serapio fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Boca FC's Aquiles Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Caradaro in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Boca FC's Fabricio Benvide ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonas Erauso. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Armando Diegotxe came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the 25 de Mayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Diegotxe couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Serapio in the 53rd minute of play forced Boca FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Virgilio Damario suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Jeraldo during the 54th minute. Fabricio Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Fabricio Benvide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 25 de Mayo's Jonas Erauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boca FC's Zeledon Mosen got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Benvide in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Erauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Mosen in the 85th minute of play forced 25 de Mayo's goalkeeper Jonas Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Benvide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Erauso was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
