With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Franco in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Florian saved Guañizuil FC from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Benjamin Enmanuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Guañizuil FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Joel Elivareo hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damazy Ziombkowski came out of the goal and Benjamin Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Guañizuil FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Fernet had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
