The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Virgilio Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Dominguez in the 4th minute of play. Rene Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Silviano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Kusko in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Pintura integral getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Freddy Godoy hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Prudencio Curcio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Ieltxu skillfully saved the ball. Sixto Kusko succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After a rather tough play, Panteras FC's Gualterio Nazario got a free kick in the 18th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Sixto Kusko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Medero. Pintura integral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Kusko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 38 minutes, Gualterio Nazario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panteras FC and the Pintura integral players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Kusko in the 42nd minute of play forced Pintura integral's goalkeeper Rene Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Sixto Kusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Medero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Panteras FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Kusko to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Panteras FC's Sixto Kusko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rene Medero. Rene Medero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Panteras FC's zone, Freddy Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Ieltxu came out of the goal and Freddy Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes of play, Pintura integral's Fulgencio Cordeiro made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Ieltxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgilio Ieltxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Prudencio Curcio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Virgilio Ieltxu. Panteras FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sixto Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rene Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match, Cesar Silviano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rene Medero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 79thth minute of the game Freddy Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panteras FC's Virgilio Ieltxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 81 minutes on the clock, Eusebio Mino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. With a little luck, Pintura integral's Rene Medero got control of the ball when Cesar Silviano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panteras FC's Virgilio Ieltxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Cordeiro in the 91st minute of play. Rene Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Kusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panteras FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
