Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damazy Ziombkowski made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Gregorio Fernendo sent off a good shot on target. Celso Franco scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Olivar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Lucio Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damazy Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Ziombkowski having to interfere. Gregorio Fernendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Lucio Goito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Fernet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético G Lamadrid the free kick. Lucio Goito hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Club Atlético G Lamadrid's Gaspar Olivar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético G Lamadrid from getting a goal against them. The Deportivo Fernet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damazy Ziombkowski should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético G Lamadrid players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
