The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bilardista FC's Ubaldo Osoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th match minute, Pintura integral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Curcio to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Adan Maore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Medero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edelmiro Guillelmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Medero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Rene Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Guillelmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Godoy in the 13th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Edelmiro Guillelmo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rene Medero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rene Medero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Osoitz in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Gonza during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Efrain Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Freddy Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pintura integral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Godoy couldn't finish the play. Bilardista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pintura integral the free kick. After 40 played minutes Bilardista FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Mitxaut. In the 43rd minute Freddy Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Osmundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Godoy made a kick off. Fulgencio Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Isidoro Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Freddy Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pintura integral booed when Bilardista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Hurko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Bilardista FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Osmundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Godoy. Bilardista FC's Isidoro Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Cordeiro in the 71st minute of play. If Fulgencio Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pintura integral's Freddy Godoy was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fulgencio Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efrain Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bilardista FC booed when Pintura integral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Jurdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Pintura integral's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Guillelmo came free, but Rene Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
