After 17 played minutes Lobo Norte got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Jorrin. In the 21st minute, Mario Porfirio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Sjöberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 23 played minutes Corrientes Parque Club got a freekick which was hit by Saul Orlo. If Gogo Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Columbo to make the kick off. When Lorenzo Columbo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Lobo Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Columbo couldn't finish the play. Lobo Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Madaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lobo Norte's Lorenzo Columbo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Birila hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Corrientes Parque Club could leave the field as winners, despite Lobo Norte having more of the ball for most of the match.
