North Boys's Leopoldo Jacinto Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Aquiles Eguerdi came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the North Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Eguerdi couldn't finish the play. North Boys's Gabriel Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Porfirio in the 14th minute of play. North Boys's Aquiles Eguerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Aquiles Eguerdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corrientes Parque Club's Nicanor Madaleno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicanor Madaleno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Eguerdi in the 27th minute. Aquiles Eguerdi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Nicanor Madaleno when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Eguerdi to make the kick off. Nicanor Madaleno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Eguerdi's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes of play, North Boys's Jussi Kaukonen made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Madaleno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corrientes Parque Club's Nicanor Madaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Felipo in the 90th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Robustiano Felipo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Nicanor Madaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the game, North Boys's Jussi Kaukonen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Madaleno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. North Boys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
