Jimeno Tartalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Vito in the 46th minute of play forced BELEN DE ESCOBAR CITY's goalkeeper Jimeno Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Tome to make the kick off. In the 80th play minute Romulo Tancredo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jimeno Tartalo. 0-5. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Vito had to leave the field with a concussion. 83 minutes into the game, Jorge Horado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BELEN DE ESCOBAR CITY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciénega the free kick. Ciénega's Omar Mogel was substituted for Cristian Vito. Jorge Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Romulo Tancredo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jimeno Tartalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciénega. Ciénega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Tancredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91st play minutes Omar Mogel shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Jimeno Tartalo and just under the crossbar into goal. Jimeno Tartalo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Romulo Tancredo sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ciénega had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
