Justino Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Erasmo Eriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Aresti having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Justino Panfilo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tiburcio Sanduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Honorato Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Sanduru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Atahona FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Melchor Emeterio hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Emanuel Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Sanduru came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Atahona FC's Justino Ascencio. But to his dismay, Justino Ascencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorato Elazar to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorato Elazar struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tiburcio Sanduru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atahona FC. Tiburcio Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Ascencio in the 54th minute of play. Justino Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Sanduru having to interfere. Tiburcio Sanduru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Ascencio in the 61st minute of the match. Justino Panfilo's late challenge caught a Atahona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Panfilo helped the player get up and apologised. Honorato Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Sanduru having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Teodoro Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Samuel Pello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tocol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atahona FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tocol's Samuel Pello got a free kick in the 79th minute.
