Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5482, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cipriano Pabla took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Cipriano Pabla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cipriano Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Cipriano Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Victorino Hulberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Marz having to interfere. Cristobal Marz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pabla in the 25th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Gaston Gartxot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Marz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Cipriano Pabla came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the LOBO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Pabla couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Pabla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristobal Marz having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Licerio to make the kick off. Cipriano Pabla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cristobal Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Ubarna hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Marcos Odon from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Cristobal Marz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Colon's zone, Gaston Gartxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Marz came out of the goal and Gaston Gartxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LOBO's Leonardo Leizarraga got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gaston Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Gaston Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOBO's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Gartxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Marz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Gartxot scored 0-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Marz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Leonardo Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes, LOBO's Cipriano Ilixo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristobal Marz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LOBO reached it. Gaston Gartxot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Marz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Cipriano Pabla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristobal Marz. Cipriano Pabla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. LOBO played a much better game than Club Atletico Colon and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Colon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
