Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fulvio Guerra made the kick off which started today's match. Jacobo Ipar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Americo Fernado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Americo Fernado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Frasco in the 10th minute. Efrain Hartz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Hartz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 minutes, Arnaldo Hurko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiriguanos and the LIONS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fulvio Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Guerra took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Daunte. Israel Daunte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. LIONS's Americo Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Dominguez in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jacobo Ipar could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Americo Fernado however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Beturian in the 33rd minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Americo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Mannuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Americo Fernado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Fernado came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Chiriguanos's Jacobo Ipar. But to his dismay, Jacobo Ipar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 45th minute, Christian Peruanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, LIONS's Americo Fernado got control of the ball when Jacobo Ipar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Mannuel made a kick off. After 51 played minutes LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Christian Peruanton. With a little luck, Chiriguanos's Israel Daunte got control of the ball when Froilan Eladio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulvio Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Israel Daunte made a huge save. In the 57th minute Jacobo Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulvio Guerras short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Israel Daunte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Americo Fernado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Dominguez went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Americo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Mannuel in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Firman to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Armando Mannuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Fernado was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Israel Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Eladio in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Dominguez came free, but Americo Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Mannuel came free, but Americo Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Mannuel in the 86th minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Americo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Chiriguanos's goalkeeper Israel Daunte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulvio Guerra. 93 minutes into the game, Chiriguanos's Juan Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Fernado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. LIONS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
