Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raimundo Oro kicked off to start the match. Tomasso FC's Lucio Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Franco in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Romelu Lukaku made a precise shot to the right of Lucio Fresco. Tomasso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lucio Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romelu Lukaku, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tomasso FC's zone, Romelu Lukaku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Fresco came out of the goal and Romelu Lukaku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ★ Banfield 1896 ★ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fernan Tiso hit a great ball. Lucio Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelu Lukaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Tomasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Cosimo Cicchini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Romelu Lukaku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Fresco was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After the first half ★ Banfield 1896 ★ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Vinicio Franco made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Vinicio Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ Banfield 1896 ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Tomasso FC's Lucio Fresco got control of the ball when Romelu Lukaku tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute Raimundo Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Ciceron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Ciceron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Oro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Romelu Lukaku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Romelu Lukaku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Fresco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lucio Fresco came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by ★ Banfield 1896 ★'s Romelu Lukaku. But to his dismay, Romelu Lukaku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luisito Ciceron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Delmar De Paula kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Leonel Ostargi, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Amador Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tomasso FC's Lucio Fresco got control of the ball when Romelu Lukaku tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucio Fresco came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by ★ Banfield 1896 ★'s Romelu Lukaku. But to his dismay, Romelu Lukaku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Vinicio Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Fresco having to interfere. Lucio Fresco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romelu Lukaku in the 95th minute.
