But to his dismay, Ciriaco Mantzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, La Banda de Río 4to's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Corderun came free, but Guillermo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miramonte AFC's Emanuel Corderun got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Miramonte AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Montay came free, but Marco Musko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th match minute, La Banda de Río 4to was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Montay to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of La Banda de Río 4to booed when Miramonte AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Sayveon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Tohias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guillermo Arce. That made the score 3-1 in the 35 minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Froilan Belarmo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guillermo Arce. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Guillermo Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute Emanuel Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
