After some careless play in the AÓNIKENK defense, Feliberto Firman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matildo Fillol. The AÓNIKENK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matildo Fillol should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulvio Guerra in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matildo Fillol saved AÓNIKENK from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Fulvio Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LIONS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Bonifacio Basualdo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AÓNIKENK's protests and gave Bonifacio Basualdo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AÓNIKENK's Bonifacio Basualdo got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Christian Peruanton sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AÓNIKENK's Matildo Fillol didn't even have to move. In the 35th minute Froilan Eladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AÓNIKENK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulvio Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulvio Guerra was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Piorno to maneuver through the defense. Fulvio Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matildo Fillol having to interfere. Froilan Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to AÓNIKENK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bonifacio Basualdo hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Fulvio Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulvio Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AÓNIKENK's Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Eladio in the 77th minute of play. Fulvio Guerra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 78th playminute. A collision led to AÓNIKENK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Damaso Dimo hit a great ball. Bonifacio Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damaso Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Fernado having to interfere. Americo Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AÓNIKENK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LIONS's performance. The match ended with a win for LIONS.
