Marcelo Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonides Hats got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Federico Parco. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Telesforo De la Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Belo in the 52nd minute of the match. Modesto Milio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Manni having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Santo Eate got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sportivo Larroque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carril the free kick. Modesto Milio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Sportivo Larroque's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcelo Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Milio in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carril had won after a very even match.
