Rodrigo Lixandro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, Teddy asociaton sporting's goalkeeper Gustavo Neron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Clementi. After a defensive mix-up in Empedrado FC's zone, Guillermo Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Lixandro came out of the goal and Guillermo Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes Empedrado FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Papo. The supporters of Teddy asociaton sporting booed when Empedrado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Erlantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teddy asociaton sporting's Gustavo Neron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Teddy asociaton sporting from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Esdras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rodrigo Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Neron was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Teodosio Oihan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodosio Oihan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. During the 87th minute of the match Gabriel Goito completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gabriel Goito a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Teddy asociaton sporting's Nicasio Bertol got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Amador Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teddy asociaton sporting's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Llope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Lixandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
