Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albano Santikurtz started the match with the kick off. La Banda Gedienta's Severo Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Lawrence in the 6th minute of play. Albano Santikurtz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Cuarto having to interfere. Albano Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Reynaldo Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Mauro Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda Gedienta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Johans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Albano Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Esteban Errolan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severo Magdaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Errolan in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Silvestre Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Jeremias Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda Gedienta's zone, Esteban Errolan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Magdaleno came out of the goal and Esteban Errolan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Emilio Indalecio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavalle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Banda Gedienta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lavalle's Emilio Indalecio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute Albano Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cuarto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Silvestre Lawrence made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, La Banda Gedienta's Albano Santikurtz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Cuarto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Albano Santikurtz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Cuarto was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. If Albano Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albano Santikurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Florencio Guter came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the La Banda Gedienta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Guter couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Lavalle got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Ofelio. Lavalle's Reynaldo Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Santikurtz in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mauro Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Banda Gedienta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Johans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Cuarto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mauro Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albano Santikurtz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Banda Gedienta's protests and gave Albano Santikurtz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, La Banda Gedienta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Santikurtz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Lawrence in the 80th minute of play forced La Banda Gedienta's goalkeeper Severo Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Lawrence's late challenge caught a La Banda Gedienta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Lavalle got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Lawrence. Albano Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Reynaldo Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Romero during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Banda Gedienta's Aureliano Romero got a free kick in the 90th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the La Banda Gedienta players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
