Moises Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Godofredo Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Inocencio Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Telaritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Lico to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tolkien Fútbol Club's Celestino Nardo got a free kick in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Llorenc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moises Ovando. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Ferrando during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Telaritos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Domingos Ferrando hit a great ball. Moises Ovando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Duardo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Duardo got free with Moises Ovando in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Llorenc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moises Ovando. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvio Abancens made a kick off. With a little luck, Tolkien Fútbol Club's Inocencio Paz got control of the ball when Godofredo Haritzeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Primitivo Demario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tolkien Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 68th match minute, Telaritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. Moises Ovando came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Tolkien Fútbol Club's Rodrigo Llorenc. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Llorenc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of Tolkien Fútbol Club booed when Telaritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tolkien Fútbol Club's Primitivo Demario got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Mauricio Duardo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Telaritos's Moises Ovando. Moises Ovando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Celestino Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mauricio Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 99 minutes, Godofredo Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telaritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Haritzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tolkien Fútbol Club had played much better football throughout.
