The goalkeeper, Rosendo Harri, was totally fooled by ♠ASDEESPADAS♠'s Miguel Ángel Converti, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Miguel Ángel Convertis short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Rosendo Harri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 23 minutes into the game, Miguel Ángel Converti lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Rosendo Harri. 31 minutes in the game Mario Frasco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Miguel Ángel Converti. Lino Eyague might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Abajas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Eyague ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of ♠ASDEESPADAS♠ booed when El Progreso de Echu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lino Eyague made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to El Progreso de Echu getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Conrado Aimar hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Americo Romelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Progreso de Echu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ♠ASDEESPADAS♠ the free kick. After 55 played minutes El Progreso de Echu got a freekick which was hit by Americo Romelio. With a little luck, ♠ASDEESPADAS♠'s Emilio Abajas got control of the ball when Lino Eyague tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, ♠ASDEESPADAS♠'s Marcelo Chumo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Miguel Ángel Converti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. El Progreso de Echu's Lino Eyague got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Eyague could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Emilio Abajas made a huge save. After 84 played minutes El Progreso de Echu got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Victoro. Conrado Aimar was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 86 minutes into the game, one of El Progreso de Echu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rosendo Harri went to the wrong direction when Miguel Ángel Converti was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rosendo Harri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Converti's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the ♠ASDEESPADAS♠ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
