After a defensive mix-up in Telaritos's zone, Jonas Egoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Ovando came out of the goal and Jonas Egoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Dante Cuartio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Telaritos's Moises Ovando. Moises Ovando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 48 minutes on the clock, La 徐义 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, one of Tegua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. Vladimiro Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Telaritos booed when Tegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Sérgio Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Haritzeder in the 89th minute of the match. Mauro Abreu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Moises Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tegua. In the 99th minute, Sérgio Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tegua eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
