After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Miguel Ángel Converti managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♠ASDEESPADAS♠'s supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ángel Converti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Rocendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Abreu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Marcelo Salas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tegua's Dante Cuartio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Abajas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Dante Cuartio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Abajas. ♠ASDEESPADAS♠'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Cuartio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dante Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emilio Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dariusz Fabiszak got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Miguel Ángel Converti. In the 29th match minute, ♠ASDEESPADAS♠ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Chumo to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes Tegua got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Egoitz. Sérgio Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Abajas having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Dante Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tegua's Vladimiro Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ángel Converti in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Tegua got a freekick which was hit by Dante Cuartio.

The wind increased when Dante Cuartio made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Higinio Pabla with Marcelo Chumo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 54th minute Miguel Ángel Converti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♠ASDEESPADAS♠ were furious when Marcelo Chumo was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in ♠ASDEESPADAS♠ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tegua a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dante Cuartio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ♠ASDEESPADAS♠'s Emilio Abajas. 0-2. After 63 played minutes ♠ASDEESPADAS♠ got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Ángel Converti. Sérgio Correia struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Emilio Abajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tegua. In the 66th minute, Dante Cuartio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Abajas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 75 minutes into the match, Dante Cuartio notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of ♠ASDEESPADAS♠'s Emilio Abajas. Emilio Abajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Abajas came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Tegua's Dante Cuartio. But to his dismay, Dante Cuartio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After having played for 90 minutes, Marcelo Salas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Salas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dariusz Fabiszak made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miguel Ángel Converti immediately put the ball in play. The Tegua fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Tegua's Dante Cuartio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Sérgio Correia came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Tegua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Correia couldn't finish the play.
