After 29 played minutes Deportivo Alfajor got a freekick which was hit by Cachari Estany. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Rivas during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aston Birra FC booed when Deportivo Alfajor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Lamberto came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Alfajor's zone, Cesar Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Rutenio came out of the goal and Cesar Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cesar Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aston Birra FC fully deserved thier win.
