After a rather tough play, Mercedes FC's Silvano Shepherd got a free kick in the 21st minute. But to his dismay, Alvaro Kimetz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gonzalo Rutenio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Opilano in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Mercedes FC got a corner. Deportivo Alfajor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wlodzimierz Biegun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 90 minutes, Gaston Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Deportivo Alfajor got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Rivas. Alvaro Kimetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gonzalo Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Eulalio Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mercedes FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
