Spectators: 7340 (Terracing: 5507, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) Racing Club 【MZ】's Gabriel Monico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club 【MZ】's zone, Modesto Jerrald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Ibañez came out of the goal and Modesto Jerrald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Jerrald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Ibañez having to make a save. Florentino Clemencin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Monico in the 15th minute of play. Modesto Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Racing Club 【MZ】's Abelardo Joey got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Modesto Jerrald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club 【MZ】's Enrique Ibañez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modesto Jerrald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Ibañez having to interfere. Florentino Clemencin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Monico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to San Lorenzo y LosRedo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Javier Millrick hit a great ball. If Abelardo Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Gabriel Monico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo y LosRedo's Florentino Clemencin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes of play, San Lorenzo y LosRedo's Modesto Jerrald made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Ibañez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gabriel Monico fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club 【MZ】's protests and gave Gabriel Monico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Gabriel Monico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half San Lorenzo y LosRedo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Jerrald was the one to do the kick off. If Gabriel Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Modesto Jerrald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club 【MZ】's Enrique Ibañez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Frichoso got free with Enrique Ibañez in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute Modesto Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Modesto Jerrald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club 【MZ】's Enrique Ibañez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Javier Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Jerrald in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Ibañez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Ibañez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Naelio in the 90th minute.
