Club Atlético Batán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Socorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Misael hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Generoso Xabel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atletico Agripa's Paulino Valente. Paulino Valente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 played minutes Club Atletico Agripa got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Petrigai. In the 24th minute, Maximo Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Xabel in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Club Atlético Batán's Generoso Xabel in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Agripa's goalie prevented a goal. Generoso Xabel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Paulino Valente skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raimundo Socorro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Valente. Paulino Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 38th minute, Generoso Xabel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulino Valente. The goal made the score 4-0. The supporters of Club Atletico Agripa booed when Club Atlético Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Misael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes of play, Club Atlético Batán's Generoso Xabel made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Generoso Xabel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Generoso Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Paulino Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Chew made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Raulo in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes, Everardo Mederi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Batán and the Club Atletico Agripa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Everardo Mederi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Generoso Xabel in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Valente saved Club Atletico Agripa from getting behind. Paulino Valente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Socorro went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the game, Eusebio Lehoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Paulino Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84thth minute of the game Raimundo Socorro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Agripa's Paulino Valente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Atletico Agripa were furious when Lucas Meder was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Agripa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Batán:s goal. Club Atlético Batán's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
