After a defensive mix-up in LakeShow's zone, Manuel Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Bäckström came out of the goal and Manuel Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dan Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Rico in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Prospero Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the LakeShow defense, Cedrik Valckeneers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Bäckström. The LakeShow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Bäckström should have stopped the shot. Cristian Hitzeder made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Barracas's Octavio Tome. Gervasio Millano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, LakeShow's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Eguntsenti came free, but Dan Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cedrik Valckeneers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dan Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Eguntsenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Benjamin Aznar hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Ladislao Gar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LakeShow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 50 played minutes Sportivo Barracas got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Tirso. In the 57th minute, Prospero Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cedrik Valckeneers came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sportivo Barracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cedrik Valckeneers couldn't finish the play. LakeShow's Dan Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save LakeShow from getting a goal against them. Gogo Napier hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sportivo Barracas booed when LakeShow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Marcones during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Apolo Guillen put in a rough tackle. In the 73rd minute, one of Sportivo Barracas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sportivo Barracas. The referee gave LakeShow a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristian Hitzeder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sportivo Barracas's Gervasio Millano. 2-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Silvio Abeijon put in a rough tackle. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LakeShow! Dan Bäckström had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Rico's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Manuel Rico took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dan Bäckström to make any attempt to save it. LakeShow succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sportivo Barracas had controlled the match.
