Edgardo Gilesindo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jairo Orixe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jairo Orixe came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wanda's Samuel Fix. But to his dismay, Samuel Fix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Patronato's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Mano came free, but Jairo Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ruslan Fedorchuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Orixe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Fix in the 31st minute. Celedonio Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Edgardo Gilesindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Orixe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Americo Fix's late challenge caught a Wanda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. When Edgardo Gilesindo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Wanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Gilesindo couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Eusebio Frantzes made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Orixe. Patronato's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 45 minutes into the match, Patronato's goalkeeper Jairo Orixe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Gilesindo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
