Larrea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Arixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Pitin struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Esteban Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alumni F.C. In the 11th minute, Dario Ilixo made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Astigar. Alumni F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Maximo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alumni F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gogo Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Arixo in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Igor Arixo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bonifacio Ilixo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Sebastian Elequemedo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Agustin Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Ilixo in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Larrea AFC's Igor Arixo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Astigar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 47th minute, Dario Ilixo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Agustin Astigar, passed just outside the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gogo Gilen made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Alumni F.C's Maximo Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Roderigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dario Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Astigar having to interfere. Alumni F.C's Agustin Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Arixo in the 60th minute of play. Agustin Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Arixo in the 62nd minute of play. If Igor Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustin Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Arixo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Igor Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Igor Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Alumni F.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Roman Dantae hit a great ball. Agustin Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Arixo in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Arixo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Astigar saved Alumni F.C from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Gogo Gilen took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Esteban Roderigo to make any attempt to save it. Larrea AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
