Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernan Avellaneda kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes, Gogo Gilen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alumni F.C and the River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Alumni F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Gilen. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernan Avellaneda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Agustin Astigar. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. If Fernan Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Astigar having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Cristian Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Senio in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Agustin Astigar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 19 minutes, Roman Dantae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alumni F.C and the River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alumni F.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Roman Dantae hit a great ball. When Fernan Avellaneda, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Agustin Astigar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Victor Senio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustin Astigar. Alumni F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Senio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Agustin Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Senio in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Alumni F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Elequemedo. Victor Senio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Avellaneda in the 38th minute of play. River Plate's Victor Senio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernan Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Agustin Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The supporters of Alumni F.C booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Agustin Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The River Plate fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when River Plate's Fernan Avellaneda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victor Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Avellaneda in the 70th minute of the match. Victorio Orain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Agustin Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the match Aureliano Uzuri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustin Astigar skillfully saved the ball. Alumni F.C's Agustin Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Avellaneda in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Fernan Avellaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Fernan Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Senio in the 94th minute of the match. River Plate's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
