Silvio Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Ferran in the 24th minute of play. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Pacho came free, but Fermin Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bye Bye Baby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moreno the free kick. The supporters of Moreno booed when Bye Bye Baby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvio Abecia came out of the goal and Victor Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moreno's Fermin Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Izel in the 76th minute of play. Jonathan Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Fermin Taurino made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Bye Bye Baby's zone, Serafino Ferran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Abecia came out of the goal and Serafino Ferran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Victor Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Taurino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Pacho went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the match, Moreno's Victor Theobald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Abecia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Moreno's goalkeeper Fermin Taurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Pacho. Chants of Bye Bye Baby echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Moreno had held the ball for most of the match.
