The supporters of Anguilan AFC booed when Eloy Resto F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Barbosa came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Eloy Resto F.C.'s Denis Ishmael. Chiquito Romero made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Iker Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. In the 35thth minute of the game Higinio Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eloy Resto F.C.'s Chiquito Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ciriaco Delfino fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eloy Resto F.C.'s protests and gave Ciriaco Delfino a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Ledesma in the 37th minute of play forced Eloy Resto F.C.'s goalkeeper Chiquito Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Anguilan AFC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Anguilan AFC's Higinio Ledesma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Ledesma to make the kick off. Higinio Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquito Romero having to interfere. Hernan Benino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cipriano Barbosa. 4-2. Lázaro Gotzon struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Chiquito Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anguilan AFC. Marciano Chucho might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chiquito Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marciano Chucho ran back to his position shaking his head. 99 minutes into the game, Anguilan AFC's Jeremias Eusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiquito Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Anguilan AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
