Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Julio Arano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Julio Arano made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Conrado Cresconio sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Laureano Hondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Bernasconi got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Cresconio. Julio Arano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Ikatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Arano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Maximiliano Ikatz came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Bernasconi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Ikatz couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Arano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Anacleto Odol from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Julio Arano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Maximiliano Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernasconi's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Arano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernasconi's Laureano Hondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Cordarin in the 67th minute of play. If Maximiliano Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bernasconi fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Bernasconi's Maximiliano Ikatz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 76 played minutes Bernasconi got a freekick which was hit by Javier Birjaio. After 79th play minutes Ciriaco Felipo shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Laureano Hondo and just under the crossbar into goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Lopes hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
