Enrique Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Arano having to interfere. If Conrado Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Urdaspal might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Arano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Urdaspal ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Urdaspal got free with Julio Arano in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Suero had several of the JUNI JUNI FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Arano as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 21st minute, Potrero Futbol Club's Enrique Suero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Arano. Julio Arano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Enrique Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potrero Futbol Club's Domingo Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Cordarin in the 29th minute of play. Enrique Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Arano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Suero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Arano. That made the score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Enrique Suero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Arano. JUNI JUNI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Suero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Suero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Enrique Suero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potrero Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Enrique Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Felipo got free with Domingo Veremundo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Veremundo was a little too slow when Teodoro Cordarin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 5-1. If Horacio Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes JUNI JUNI FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Ponc. In the 80th minute, Jeremias Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potrero Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Ciriaco Felipo scored to the left of an out of position Domingo Veremundo, making the score, 5-2. Julio Arano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Enrique Suero struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Arano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrero Futbol Club. Julio Arano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, JUNI JUNI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Suero came free, but Julio Arano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Potrero Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
