When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Maximiliano Ikatz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gogo Mannie. Bernasconi's Maximiliano Ikatz got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Cordaryal took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Hondo. Laureano Hondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gogo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Ikatz in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Conrado Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Blasco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Isthilart's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Haroldo Blasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nereo Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Maximiliano Ikatz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bernasconi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 44th minute, Isthilart's Nereo Cordaryal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laureano Hondo. Laureano Hondo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Ikatz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Isthilart's zone, Maximiliano Ikatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Mannie came out of the goal and Maximiliano Ikatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Ikatz in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Isthilart's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conrado Cresconio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Laureano Hondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Blasco in the 61st minute of the match. When Nereo Cordaryal came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Isthilart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Cordaryal couldn't finish the play. Gogo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Ikatz in the 65th minute of play. Maximiliano Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gogo Mannie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Isthilart got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Tolino. 72 minutes into the match, Isthilart's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Ikatz came free, but Gogo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bernasconi booed when Isthilart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Tolino during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciriaco Tolino hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bernasconi's Cristo Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Isthilart's goalkeeper Gogo Mannie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Cresconio. When Vladimiro Argenis fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isthilart's protests and gave Vladimiro Argenis a yellow card for diving instead. Bernasconi were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
