Erasmo Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Bernabel in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Potrero Futbol Club getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Everardo Cutberto hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Feliciano Urdaspal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Erasmo Nafarroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Suero in the 20th minute of play forced Milmar's goalkeeper Erasmo Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Oscar Tercero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milmar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrero Futbol Club the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Oscar Tercero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Potrero Futbol Club's Enrique Suero in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Milmar's goalie prevented a goal. Blas Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Nafarroa having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Potrero Futbol Club's Enrique Suero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Nafarroa. Erasmo Nafarroa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Potrero Futbol Club's zone, Oscar Tercero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Veremundo came out of the goal and Oscar Tercero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Oscar Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Porfirio in the 42nd minute of play. Oscar Tercero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 minutes of play, Potrero Futbol Club's Enrique Suero made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Nafarroa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Nafarroa having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Enrique Suero made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Nafarroa. Milmar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 66 minutes into the match, Feliciano Urdaspal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Nafarroa. Milmar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Urdaspal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Enrique Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Erasmo Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Frasco during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Leopoldo Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Urdaspal succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. 81 minutes into the match, Milmar's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Urdaspal came free, but Erasmo Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Potrero Futbol Club fully deserved thier win.
