With his leg Lucio Joey managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Salicas 's Baldomero Urre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 24 played minutes Isidoro Jerico rounded The Hanging Tree's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Dani Stone fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 28th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Isidoro Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Joey having to interfere. If Gert-Jan De Witte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 44 in the game by Isidoro Jerico from a close distance when the talented Lucio Joey managed to make a qualified save. The Hanging Tree's players were relieved. Salicas 's Isidoro Jerico got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucio Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gert-Jan De Witte to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Urre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Joey was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Omar Tirso came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Hanging Tree's Gert-Jan De Witte. But to his dismay, Gert-Jan De Witte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Baldomero Urre came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Salicas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Urre couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Isidoro Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Hanging Tree getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dani Stone hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Baldomero Urre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salicas 's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Urre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Joey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Valente hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Isidoro Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Jerico went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Isidoro Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jesus Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Salicas 's Marcelo Valente got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Hermengildo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Isidoro Jerico managed to get in a good position for a shot.
