It was beautiful to see Legion Roja FC's Amado Matro in action when he in the 50th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Santos to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Constantino Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferrocarril Escocia's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Daunte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes, Gonzalo Xabier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legion Roja FC and the Ferrocarril Escocia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Legion Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Xabier. When Constantino Daunte came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ferrocarril Escocia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Daunte couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Santos in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Larpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Aureliano Austin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ferrocarril Escocia's Agustin Bordat quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mauricio Cordaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Malvin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Legion Roja FC's Saul Hartz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Larpe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute of the match, Constantino Daunte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cesar Malvin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cesar Malvin was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Constantino Daunte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Constantino Daunte really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Ciriaco Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Santos in the 84th minute of play. Florentino Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ciriaco Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ferrocarril Escocia's Mauricio Cordaro got a free kick in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Legion Roja FC's Florentino Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Larpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 94 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Santos came free, but Ciriaco Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
