In the 4th match minute, El Glorioso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Jon to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, El Glorioso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Edorta came free, but Fulgencio Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Edorta in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Gumaro saved El Glorioso FC from getting behind. The supporters of River Plate United booed when El Glorioso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Lluterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Felipe Edorta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Gumaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 20th minute, Esteban Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Glorioso FC's Fulgencio Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Urbes in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, El Glorioso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Urbes came free, but Fulgencio Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Urbes in the 31st minute of the match. Fulgencio Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Edorta in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, River Plate United's goalkeeper Mateo Ignado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Jon. 39 minutes into the match, River Plate United's Felipe Edorta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Gumaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Celso Jon came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the El Glorioso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Jon couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Arturo Fonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Jon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Oxarra in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Cristian Hayes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of River Plate United's Mateo Ignado. Mateo Ignado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, El Glorioso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Urbes came free, but Fulgencio Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Glorioso FC's Fulgencio Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Urbes in the 69th minute of play. Fulgencio Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Gumaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Edorta in the 76th minute. River Plate United were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over El Glorioso FC's much stronger midfield.
