Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gaston Tabor made the kick off and thus started the match. If Gaston Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, River Plate United's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Tebaldo came free, but Mateo Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, River Plate United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Edorta to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, RIVER SAN FCO's Cesar Tebaldo got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Gaston Tabor put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mateo Ignado. Mateo Ignado came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER SAN FCO's Gaston Tabor. But to his dismay, Gaston Tabor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Gaston Tabor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Ignado. River Plate United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Tabor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 29 minutes into the match, RIVER SAN FCO's goalkeeper Cecilio Millan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Edorta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Tabor in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Tabor in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate United's goalkeeper Mateo Ignado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RIVER SAN FCO's Cesar Tebaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaston Tabor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Ignado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Florencio Urbes made the kick off in the second half. Cesar Tebaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Ignado having to interfere. When Gaston Tabor came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the RIVER SAN FCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Tabor couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, River Plate United's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Tebaldo came free, but Mateo Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Tebaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Ignado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Tebaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateo Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Tabor in the 74th minute. River Plate United's Mateo Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Tebaldo in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate United's zone, Gaston Tabor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Ignado came out of the goal and Gaston Tabor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romuald Seurin hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. River Plate United's Mateo Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Tebaldo in the 84th minute of play. Mateo Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Tebaldo in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, RIVER SAN FCO's Cesar Tebaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Ignado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cesar Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, River Plate United's Marcial Berdoi got a free kick in the 96th minute. Mateo Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Tabor in the 97th minute. The River Plate United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RIVER SAN FCO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
