Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pastor Lope kicked off to start the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Edgard Estevez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iker Salas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. CA Ituzaingo's Anselmo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Lope in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pastor Lope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Abarca was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After the first half Despechá F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Estevez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Illart in the 51st minute of play forced CA Ituzaingo's goalkeeper Anselmo Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes Despechá F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Lope. When Pastor Lope got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Despechá F.C.. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Maiorga during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CA Ituzaingo's Domingos Maiorga got a free kick in the 58th minute. Despechá F.C.'s Pastor Lope was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 61 minutes, Conrado Bortzaioriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Ituzaingo and the Despechá F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, CA Ituzaingo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. CA Ituzaingo's Anselmo Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save CA Ituzaingo from getting a goal against them. Iker Salas came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Ituzaingo's Edgard Estevez. But to his dismay, Edgard Estevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in CA Ituzaingo's zone, Eulalio Illart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Abarca came out of the goal and Eulalio Illart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Salas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Pastor Lope could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Anselmo Abarca however easily saved by the left post. 96 minutes into the game, Humberto Sendoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Ituzaingo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despechá F.C. the free kick. Humberto Sendoa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Despechá F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CA Ituzaingo.
