Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serafin Ellande made the kick off which started today's match. If Serafin Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laureano Jobo's late challenge caught a Libertad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Jobo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Libertad booed when Mazarredo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Jobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mazarredo FC's Segundo Endura got a free kick in the 16th minute. Zeledon Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mazarredo FC booed when Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Libertad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evelio Francis was slow to take the kick. During this time Mazarredo FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mazarredo FC's Evelio Francis to fire away a dangerous shot which Desiderio Dalmau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Desiderio Dalmau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Pello in the 31st minute. When Segundo Endura fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazarredo FC's protests and gave Segundo Endura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Segundo Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Bartuelo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Bartuelo in the 51st minute of play forced Libertad's goalkeeper Desiderio Dalmau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mazarredo FC's Segundo Endura got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Edgard Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 62nd minute, but Bartolo Illan got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Mazarredo FC hanging dry this time. After 63 played minutes Mazarredo FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Bartuelo. 64 minutes into the match, Mazarredo FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Illan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Peio. A collision led to Libertad getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Segundo Atauri hit a great ball. If Angel Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Serafin Ellande fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Libertad's protests and gave Serafin Ellande a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Pello in the 77th minute of play forced Libertad's goalkeeper Desiderio Dalmau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Mazarredo FC's Zeledon Bartuelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Dalmau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Libertad getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ismael Nardo hit a great ball. Robustiano Pello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Dalmau having to make a save. Edgard Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Desiderio Dalmau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Desiderio Dalmau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazarredo FC. Mazarredo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
