Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pastor Lope might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustino Rufio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Lope ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th minute Eulalio Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mataderos FC's Faustino Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Basualdo in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Mataderos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Viator to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Illart scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Rufio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Mataderos FC's Esteban Duarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iker Salas. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Sabin during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faustino Rufio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Lope in the 27th minute of play. Marcos Dantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Salas having to interfere. In the 36th minute Pastor Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Pastor Lope notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Mataderos FC's Faustino Rufio. Faustino Rufio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Despechá F.C. were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Dantel to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rufio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Illart. 58 minutes into the match, Leonides Marin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Faustino Rufio, 2-5. In the 61st match minute, Despechá F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Firme to maneuver through the defense. Mataderos FC's Marcos Dantel got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Iker Salas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Emenon in the 65th minute of play forced Despechá F.C.'s goalkeeper Iker Salas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mataderos FC! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Despechá F.C.. Bernabe Honrio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faustino Rufio. 2-6. Melchor Thomas hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Despechá F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Dantel came free, but Iker Salas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Illart in the 78th minute of play forced Mataderos FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Dantel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Salas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Despechá F.C.'s Vicente Policarpio got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Marcos Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mataderos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Dantel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Petri charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Petri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Mataderos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Petri to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Lope's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Faustino Rufio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pastor Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despechá F.C. played a much better game than Mataderos FC and deserved their victory. The Mataderos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
