Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mazarredo FC's Zeledon Bartuelo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bartolo Illan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Pancho in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Quebrachito AFC's Samuel Pancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Illan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elvio Oso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Bartuelo's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrachito AFC's zone, Zeledon Bartuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Oso came out of the goal and Zeledon Bartuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Millano in the 13th minute of play forced Mazarredo FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Jacobo Millano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Illan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Sixto Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jacobo Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Pancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Illan having to make a save. Bartolo Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Elvio Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Bartuelo in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Zeledon Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazarredo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Bartuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Pello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Pancho made a kick off. Jacobo Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Illan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Pancho in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Illan saved Mazarredo FC from getting behind. Samuel Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bartolo Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrachito AFC's zone, Robustiano Pello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Oso came out of the goal and Robustiano Pello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebrachito AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Oso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Quebrachito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Pello came free, but Elvio Oso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mazarredo FC's zone, Samuel Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Illan came out of the goal and Samuel Pancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Bartuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Oso having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Samuel Pancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Samuel Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bartolo Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacobo Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jacobo Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quebrachito AFC's Jacobo Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quebrachito AFC played a much better game than Mazarredo FC and deserved their victory. The Mazarredo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
