Remigio Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Acarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigio Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didier Pironi in the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Acarreta in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Urtzi saved Kinder F.C. from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herminio Lidon during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Herminio Lidon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didier Pironi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Urtzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Danilo Feliu charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Feliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kinder F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Danilo Feliu hit a great ball. The supporters of Kinder F.C. booed when Lanus AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didier Pironi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Remigio Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Acarreta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigio Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 魏诚森 in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Sergio Acarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanus AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Acarreta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Didier Pironi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Remigio Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Lanus AC's Sergio Acarreta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Urtzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Lanus AC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Desiderio Lope made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lanus AC's 鲁朋康 got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Sergio Acarreta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Kinder F.C.'s zone, Sergio Acarreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Urtzi came out of the goal and Sergio Acarreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Lope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Lanus AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kinder F.C. throughout the match.
